Overview
One link, no account, and one job: score the talks in your own sessions. The page is built to be used on a phone between two talks.
You see your own sessions, not the rest of the conference.
Stage 1
Your link
The organisers send it by email. It opens your dashboard and nothing else.
Keep the email; there is no password to reset.
Stage 2
Your sessions
Every session where you are listed as chair, with its room, day and time, and the papers in it.
Nothing here is typed in by hand: the sessions, the papers and your own name all come from the conference programme. If something is wrong there — a paper in the wrong session, a misspelled name — tell the organisers, because correcting it in the programme corrects it here.
A counter at the top says how many of your papers you have scored. A form you have already sent can be reopened and changed.
Stage 3
Scoring a talk
The form is the conference's own — the criteria and the scale are theirs, and they are the same for every chair so that two sessions can be compared at all. The scale runs from the best score on the left down to the worst, because you read the heading once and the rows afterwards.
There is a comment box, optional, and a recommendation chosen from a fixed list. The list is closed rather than free text so that the conference can count the answers.
Stage 4
What the scores are for
They go to the organisers, not to the speaker. On their side the forms add up into a ranking of the papers presented, with your comments underneath.
That ranking is a reading of the scores, not a verdict: if the conference gives a best paper award, a person decides it and issues the certificate. Two papers can average the same score, and an award is the most visible document a conference hands out.
Help
Frequently asked
A paper in my session looks wrong.
Tell the organisers. Everything here comes from the programme; correcting it there corrects it here.
I sent the form but changed my mind.
A form you have already sent can be reopened and changed.
The page says the evaluation form is not open.
The conference has not published the programme yet, or has taken it down. Nothing is lost; the same link will work later.
Will the speaker see my scores?
No. The scores and comments go to the organisers.
I lost my link.
Ask the organisers for a new one. There is no password; the old link stops working the moment the new one is issued.
